Londres est un enfer, un compromis de tous les jours où ensemble l’ancien et le nouveau lutte contre une symphonie de personnes. Les voitures, les trains, les machines. c’est un principe d’accord magique. L’intérêt de ce film et du projet MOVING CITIES est de montrer la bizarre et harmonieuse relation qu’entretiennent les danseurs avec les villes.
Pour marquer les 1 an depuis la création de MOVING CITIES, nous présentons une suite au film original “Keeping London Moving”. Un autre essai à personnifier l’homme faisant la ville par le mouvement. MOVING CITIES est une initiative inter-culturelle qui se présente sous la forme d’une collection permanente de courts métrages à l’aide de la danse pour présenter le quotidien des villes. L’objectif depuis 2014 est de renforcer la compréhension inter-culturelle à travers les arts.
London is an inferno, an everyday arrangement of old and new set against a symphony of people. The cars, the trains, the machines. It is a system of magical convenience. The concern of this film and the wider Moving Cities project is the bizarre and unusually harmonious relationship dancers have with cities.
To mark one year since the inception of Moving Cities, we present a sequel to the original film ‘Keeping London Moving’. Yet another stab at personifying the man made metropolis through human movement.
Moving Cities is a cross-cultural initiative that manifests into an ongoing collection of short films using dance to present the now of cities. The purpose since 2014 is to strengthen intercultural understanding through the arts.
